Job Description: As a Full Stack Developer (MERN Stack) Intern at Levrez, you will work alongside experienced developers to design, develop, and maintain web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js. This internship offers a great opportunity to strengthen your practical development skills, work on real client projects, and learn industry best practices in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You will gain exposure to both front-end and back-end development while contributing to Levrez's growing portfolio of digital solutions.
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, developing, and testing web applications using the MERN stack.
- Build and maintain reusable React components under the guidance of senior developers.
- Support the development of RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
- Work with MongoDB for basic data modeling, queries, and CRUD operations.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in both front-end and back-end code with mentorship support.
- Write clean, well-documented code following team coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews, daily stand-ups, and team discussions to learn best practices.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers on assigned tasks.
- Continuously learn and stay updated with MERN stack tools, frameworks, and industry trends.
Requirements
- Familiarity with responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Basic understanding of state management concepts (Context API, Redux, etc.).
- Exposure to Postman or similar tools for API testing.
- Familiarity with deployment concepts and hosting platforms (Vercel, Netlify, Render, etc.) is a plus.
- Basic understanding of authentication concepts such as JWT is a plus.
- A portfolio, GitHub profile, or personal projects showcasing MERN stack work is a plus.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Familiarity with React.js fundamentals including components, props, and state.
- Basic understanding of Node.js and Express.js for building server-side applications.
- Familiarity with MongoDB and basic database concepts (CRUD operations).
- Understanding of RESTful API concepts and how front-end and back-end communicate.
- Basic knowledge of Git and version control workflows.
- Good problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
