Job Description: As a MERN Stack Developer at Levrez, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining full-stack web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, ReactJS, and Node.js. You will work closely with our product, design, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions that are robust, scalable, and user-friendly. You will play a key role in both frontend and backend development, ensuring seamless integration across the entire application stack.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, high-performance full-stack web applications using the MERN stack.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js and Express.js.
- Develop dynamic, responsive, and user-friendly frontend interfaces using ReactJS.
- Design and manage MongoDB databases including schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
- Integrate third-party APIs, services, and payment gateways into web applications.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into fully functional web applications.
- Optimize application performance across both frontend and backend for speed, scalability, and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and contribute to continuous improvement processes.
- Ensure application security best practices are followed including data validation, sanitization, and secure authentication.
- Deploy and maintain applications on cloud platforms and manage CI/CD pipelines.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in full-stack development to keep our tech stack modern and efficient.
Requirements
- Experience with TypeScript on both frontend and backend.
- Familiarity with NextJS for server-side rendering and static site generation.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure for deployment and hosting.
- Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) across both frontend and backend development.
- Thorough understanding of ReactJS and its core principles including hooks, context API, and component lifecycle.
- Solid experience with Node.js and Express.js for building RESTful APIs and server-side logic.
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB and Mongoose ODM for database design and management.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles.
- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or Context API.
- Knowledge of modern authorization and authentication mechanisms such as JWT and OAuth2.
- Familiarity with version control tools, particularly Git and GitHub/GitLab workflows.
- Strong understanding of MVC and other software architecture patterns.
