Job Description: As a .NET Developer at Levrez, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications using the Microsoft .NET ecosystem. You will work closely with our product, design, frontend, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions that are secure, scalable, and aligned with business requirements. You will play a critical role in architecting backend systems, developing APIs, and ensuring the overall technical excellence of our software products.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, and the broader .NET ecosystem.
- Build and maintain secure, well-documented RESTful APIs and Web APIs to support frontend and third-party integrations.
- Design and manage relational databases including schema design, stored procedures, indexing, and query optimization using SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
- Implement and manage authentication and authorization systems using JWT, OAuth2, and ASP.NET Core Identity.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers to deliver seamless and fully integrated web applications.
- Architect and develop microservices-based solutions and ensure smooth inter-service communication.
- Integrate third-party services, payment gateways, and external APIs into existing and new applications.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decision-making to maintain high code quality and standards.
- Optimize application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement effective solutions to ensure system reliability and scalability.
- Deploy and maintain applications on Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments.
- Ensure application security best practices are followed including input validation, data encryption, and secure coding standards.
- Stay updated with the latest .NET releases, Microsoft technologies, and industry best practices to keep our tech stack modern and efficient.
Requirements
- Experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud services for deployment and hosting of .NET applications.
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of message queuing systems such as RabbitMQ or Azure Service Bus.
- Experience with SignalR for real-time web functionality and communication.
- Familiarity with GraphQL and gRPC for API development.
- Experience with unit testing and integration testing frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET framework including .NET Core and ASP.NET Core.
- Thorough understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
- Solid experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs and Web APIs using ASP.NET Core.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Proficiency in ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework Core or Dapper.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript for full-stack development is a plus.
- Strong understanding of software architecture patterns such as MVC, MVVM, Microservices, and Clean Architecture.
- Knowledge of modern authentication and authorization mechanisms such as JWT, OAuth2, and Identity Server.
- Familiarity with code versioning tools, particularly Git and GitHub/GitLab workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
