Job Description: As a Node.js Developer at Levrez, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server-side applications and APIs that power our web and mobile products. You will work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to build reliable backend architecture and ensure smooth integration across our platforms. You will play a key role in driving Levrez's technical excellence and delivering high-performing solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and RESTful/GraphQL APIs using Node.js.
- Build and manage database schemas, queries, and data models for both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices across backend systems.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration between client and server.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability under high traffic conditions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following industry best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards and architecture.
- Deploy and monitor backend services in production environments using cloud platforms.
- Debug and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in Node.js, backend architecture, and cloud technologies.
Requirements
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure for deploying backend services.
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of message queuing systems such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
- Experience with caching solutions such as Redis for performance optimization.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and API gateway patterns.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for backend deployment using GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
- Knowledge of unit and integration testing frameworks such as Mocha, Jest, or Chai.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js runtime environment.
- Thorough understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and non-blocking I/O.
- Hands-on experience with Node.js frameworks such as Express.js, NestJS, or Koa.
- Solid experience with SQL and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
