Job Description: As a Python Developer / AI Engineer at Levrez, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying intelligent software applications and AI/ML models that solve complex real-world problems. You will work closely with our product, data science, and engineering teams to build scalable backend systems, develop machine learning pipelines, and integrate cutting-edge AI capabilities into our products and services. You will play a pivotal role in driving Levrez's AI-first vision and delivering next-generation intelligent solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable Python-based backend applications, APIs, and microservices using FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
- Build, train, evaluate, and fine-tune machine learning and deep learning models for a variety of AI use cases including NLP, computer vision, and predictive analytics.
- Develop and integrate LLM-powered features and AI agents into Levrez's products and client solutions using frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex.
- Design and implement data pipelines for ingesting, preprocessing, transforming, and storing large datasets for model training and inference.
- Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems using vector databases to enhance LLM performance with domain-specific knowledge.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and frontend developers to integrate AI capabilities seamlessly into web and mobile applications.
- Conduct model performance analysis, A/B testing, and continuous optimization to improve accuracy, efficiency, and reliability of AI systems.
- Manage and maintain vector databases, embedding models, and knowledge bases to support AI-powered search and recommendation systems.
- Ensure AI model security, fairness, and ethical compliance in all development processes.
- Deploy and monitor AI/ML models in production environments using cloud platforms and MLOps best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, research discussions, and technical decision-making to maintain high standards of code quality and innovation.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, generative AI, and Python ecosystem to continuously push the boundaries of what Levrez can deliver.
Requirements
- Experience with cloud AI/ML platforms such as AWS SageMaker, Google Vertex AI, or Azure Machine Learning.
- Familiarity with LLM orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or AutoGen.
- Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes for deploying AI models.
- Experience with MLOps practices including model versioning, monitoring, and automated retraining pipelines.
- Familiarity with computer vision libraries such as OpenCV or PIL and frameworks like YOLO or Detectron2.
- Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture and implementation.
- Experience with data pipeline tools such as Apache Airflow, Apache Spark, or dbt.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for AI/ML model deployment using GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Python programming language and its core libraries and frameworks.
- Thorough understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms, and model development lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with ML/AI frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or Keras.
- Solid experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques and libraries such as NLTK, spaCy, or Hugging Face Transformers.
- Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT, Claude, Gemini, or LLaMA and experience with prompt engineering and fine-tuning.
- Experience with Python web frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask for building backend APIs and services.
- Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib.
- Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and vector databases such as Pinecone or Weaviate.
- Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
- Familiarity with code versioning tools, particularly Git and GitHub/GitLab workflows.
